ORAL PRESENTATION >> oral presentation template
Please note that the oral presentations can last a maximum of 15 minutes; 5 more minutes will be reserved to questions and discussion.
A video beamer with PC will be available in the Conference rooms. You can find a PPT template (16:9) for the preparation of your power point presentation.
The use of the template is only recommended, not compulsory.
We invite all speakers:
- to bring their .PPT presentation on a pen-drive/USB flash drive and hand it over to the technician in the room of their presentation, , during breaks or at least before the beginning of their session.
- to save .PPT presentation with #ID paper number, speaker’s family name (i.e. "71_Smith".
- to send a short CV, a few words (by email to: icrf2026@aimnet.it by September 30th, 2026) about their role / position in their companies / universities, so that the Session Chairperson can introduce them properly to the audience.
If you wish to have their presentation in PDF format distributed to ICRF 2026 attendees, we kindly ask you to send us them by 15 October 2026 by email (aim@aimnet.it). The PDF presentation to be distributed can also be a reduced version of the PPT presentation.
Full paper submission
The Full-Length Manuscripts (or one or two pages Extended Abstract) should be upload before August 31, 2026 (new deadline).
You need to log-in with your credentials to the submission platform in order to be able to submit your full paper or extended abstract.
Please make sure to submit your full paper online via your account in time.

The signed Copyright Assignment Agreement should be sent by email to icrf2026@aimnet.it by August 31, 2026.
Registration
In general authors have no free admission to the conference.
Presentations will be included in the program and papers/extended abstracts in the proceedings, only if the author that will present (speaker), is registered and the conference fee is paid before July 10, 2026.
We consider a maximum of two papers for each registered speaker.

Language
The Conference language will be English.
Proceedings & Journals special issues
The full text or one or two pages extended abstract of the accepted papers will be published in the electronic proceedings and issued to attendees on arrival at the Conference.
Authors submitting abstracts to ICRF 2026 may be selected by the Scientific Committee and invited to submit their full papers to journal Metallurgical Research & Technology for consideration by the Editors. If the paper undergoes successful peer review, it will be published in the journal as part of a special issue dedicated to the conference. Certain papers may be considered for publication in the AIM journal La Metallurgia Italiana – International Journal of the Italian Association for Metallurgy, which is covered in the Science Citation indexed by Clarivate Analytics (formerly Thomson Reuters), and in Scopus by Elsevier B.V.
