Submission deadline
Prospective authors wishing to present papers are invited to submit a tentative title and an abstract of about 400 words (in English), specifying a maximum of two topics for each proposal.
The abstract should provide sufficient information for a fair assessment.
A poster session might be organized as well.
All abstracts will be refereed by the scientific international experts. In the case of too many submissions, abstracts of equal quality will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
You'll be able to modify your abstract and relative information until January 7, 2026 (extended deadline).
PROCEEDINGS
The full text or extended abstract of the accepted papers will be published in the electronic proceedings and issued to attendees on arrival at the Conference.
Certain papers may be considered for publication in the AIM journal La Metallurgia Italiana – International Journal of the Italian Association for Metallurgy, which is covered in the Science Citation indexed by Clarivate Analytics (formerly Thomson Reuters), and in Scopus by Elsevier B.V.
Authors submitting abstracts to EEC & EMECR may be selected by the Scientific Committee and invited to submit their full papers to the JCR ranked journal Ironmaking & Steelmaking for consideration by the Editors. If the paper undergoes successful peer review, it will be published in the journal as part of a special issue dedicated to the conference.
